I actually have this carafe and love it, I bought it in Denmark on a trip. However, I have tried to get it twice from Amazon for a friend who also loves it and have been sent the wrong Menu item twice. Amazon has been great about refunding it and giving me the pre paid shipping label but it looks like this is not the only Menu item incorrectly coded at Amazon. Another reviewer ordered a different Menu product and was also sent the wrong item. So I would urge others to buy Menu from another vendor.

Suffers from weak stream - Isabucket - America
The cooler seemed to work ok, would take a long time to cool, didn't time it because that wasn't an issue with me. Used the hot water once, took 3 minutes to heat up. I usually put the water in the microwave and heat it that way, much faster. My problem with this cooler is the slow speed it dispensed water, very slow. The manual or on the box said something like .1 gallons per hour! I could see dying of thirst using this cooler, I live in a desert, can't wait that long for a cup of water.

It's a beautiful unit. I've had no problem with it maybe only time will tell. Water tastes great I followed the instructions pertaining to dispensing and disposing of at least one quart of water prior to drinking any water. Very happy with PRIMO Model# 900129A. Easy to load the bottles compared to top loading of which I had problems with as I'm a female senior citizen.

Bad taste then stopped dispensing - ata@divisionx.com -
I bought one of these six months ago because I thought bottom loading was a great idea. Even after following the cleaning instructions in detail the water still tasted of plastic and a few days later the unit started smelling of burnt plastic. I called Primo customer support and they told me the unit must be faulty and I should return it. I returned it and I got another one and the water tasted fine. A couple of months later and the unit constantly beeps and flashes indicating the water bottle must be replaced. The problem is the water bottle is full or half full when it does that and when I take the bottle out it is under tremendous pressure since no water is flowing into the unit. I called Primo again and they had no solution. Its too late to return it. Money down the drain. I absolutely would not recommend this to anyone. Primo should recall these dispensers and issue a full refund, but its probably too late for me anyway since I now equate Primo with Problemo.

This water cooler looks attractive and works well, HOWEVER, the taste of the water it dispenses is AWFUL! We tried many different types of water, tried cleaning it per instructions several times and still...bad tasting water. It tastes like plastic...not very healthy!
