This item is great for the price that you pay for it. Yes, the sheet metal is somewhat thin, but if you don't plan on beating it with a hammer it is sturdy enough. All in all I have not found anything to complain about when it comes to it's operation or quality, however, I'm using it as a humidor not a wine chiller.

Can't maintain a cold enough temperature - Richie - Los Angeles, CA
Looks good from a distance but cheaply made. I have had mine about 6 months. It is quite noisy - I have it in my living room and you can hear it running the whole time.br /br /It is unable to keep to my requested temperature of 55c (ideal temp for white wine storage). As I write this it is struggling at 59c.br /br /I had a Haier before and that worked great before it died after 2 years. I am not sure what the deal is with wine fridges. Unless you spend 0+, there doesn't seem to be a reliable unit out there.
